AMERICAN ACADEMY OF MICROPIGMENTATION
The American Academy of Micropigmentation Gold Certification is a requirement to work as a Permanent Cosmetic Artist in the state of NJ. To become an AAM Gold Certified PMU Artist, students must complete a 100hr PMU Primary Training course. This training consist of both theory and a hands-on apprenticeship program.
The Apprenticeship program requirements include completing five microshaded eyebrows, five eyelash liner enhancements, and five lip blush tattoo procedures under the supervision of a Platinum Certified Trainer (PAAM). It is also an important part of a practitioner’s skill development and confidence.
Pretty Girls Ink also offers an Internship to our Graduates after they complete their certification for continued educational support.
