Q: What kind of training programs does Pretty Girls Ink offer?

A: Pretty Girls Ink offers comprehensive training programs in both Permanent Makeup and Body Art Tattoo. Our classes cover a variety of techniques and procedures and are taught by experienced professionals in the field.

Q: Do I need any prior experience or skills to enroll in either training program at Pretty Girls Ink?

A: No prior experience or skills are required to enroll in our PMU training or the Body Art Apprenticeship program. Our courses are designed to teach students at a fundamental level the necessary skills and techniques to succeed in the field of permanent makeup and/ or tattoo artistry.

 

Q: What kind of training programs does Pretty Girls Ink offer?

A: Pretty Girls Ink offers comprehensive training programs in permanent makeup and tattooing. Our classes cover a variety of techniques and procedures and are taught by experienced professionals in the field.

Q: What is included in the 100 hour PMU Training tuition

A: Our 100 hour PMU training tuition includes a PMU machine, brow mapping tools, one-on-one hands-on training, prep for certification exams, and an internship. We also offer students the opportunity to stay on and start their PMU business at Pretty Girls Ink for a seamless transition from school to professional success.

Q. Will the Body Art Apprenticeship training meet the New Jersey state regulations guidelines after I complete the course? 

A. Yes, Pretty Girls Ink's Body Art Apprenticeship program is a 2000 hour course and will meet the highest state requirements for body art. It will also provide out of state students their core requirements.  New Jersey is one of the most regulated states for Tattoo Apprenticeship hours and this course meets those specific requirements.

Q. Can I perform Tiny Tattoos after taking the PMU training and getting certified?

A.  No, not in the state of NJ can a PMU Artist offer any body art without first completing a 2000 hour Tattoo Apprenticeship.  However, in other states the regulations are different. It is best to check with you states regulatory board.  

Q: What kind of career can I have after completing PMU training at Pretty Girls Ink?

A: Our PMU training program can lead to a career in the beauty industry as a permanent makeup artist. With our comprehensive training, certification preparation, and internship opportunities, you can be confident in your ability to succeed in the field.

Q, Where is Pretty Girls Ink Training Academy Located?

A. We have two training locations. Our main campus is located in Red Bank, NJ just outside of the downtown area. The second location is Landing NJ.  Landing is a smaller facility and accommodates students for PMU only.  We do not offer the Body Art Apprenticeship there at this time.

Q. Do you offer online trainings for remote learning?

A. Yes, we offer our Tattoo Apprenticeship as an online class for students out of state. It includes self study modules and live webinar mentorships.  We also offer online course for Ombre Powder Brow and Lip Blush Tattoo.
